My name is Reymark Gustilo. You can call me Mark. I am a graduate of a bachelor's degree in education and I specialize in teaching English. I belong to a family of engineers. My two brothers are mechanical engineers and I studied computer engineering technology as my first college course. I first experienced teaching online in 2010 and I found it to be very rewarding. I was able to meet different people around the world and get to experience different cultures. As a result, I decided to pursue a degree in education to be a teacher formally. Luckily, I was able to pass the national exam for teachers and I am now a licensed professional teacher. I am very fond of cooking in my free time. I learn how to cook by watching videos online. I also love to take care of pets. Currently, I have two dogs, four cats in my backyard, and thirty fish in my pond. I do not regret following a career path in education. Being a teacher is one of the most fulfilling jobs out there. In this profession, learning does not stop, and being able to provide an effective learning experience to someone is something I would like to do for the rest of my life.
Experiência de Ensino
I have been teaching online for almost ten years now. Most of my students were from Asian countries namely, Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. I mainly teach conversation English and business English. Most of the time, I conduct speaking and writing practice for Academic IELTS. I am proud to say that all my students were able to study abroad after getting the required band scores. During classes, I always encourage my students to speak. Improvement in speaking any language always starts with confidence in speaking. I am always happy and eager to teach whenever I see my students trying their best, regardless of the mistakes they might make. I always try to make them understand that learning English may be challenging but it is enjoyable at the same time. If ever I become your teacher, don't be afraid to speak freely. I will always be more than glad to give you all the support you need to improve. See you in class!
